Newsom can only win if the DNC’s corporate centrist thesis that progressive politics and socialist policies are just too scary for the US public to understand and this is an unchangable fact of nature remains unchallenged and becomes reified as common knowledge.
All it takes is one example to disprove a rule, and Mamadani just did exactly that.
