Have a dairy allergy in the house so we always have some sort of almond, oat, cashew, or whatnot milk. I’m fine with dairy but I don’t bother getting milk unless I want to make some pudding (doesn’t set properly with nut or oat milk). But yeah, cheese is one thing I won’t give up, as well as occasionally sour cream.
But my dairy free cooking is pretty decent. Made a creamy bacon potato soup last week without any dairy and I was surprised at how good it turned out.
Haven’t cut dairy or beef out entirely, but I’ve reduced my consumption of both by not considering beef the “default” meat for like ground meat.
