    Disagree, theirs so many people who think a meal isn’t a meal without meat. “Im eating the meal for the meat”. Onetime at a restaurant I was considering getting this plantain dish and my friends looked at me like I’m crazy for getting an entree without meat ???

      They might think that, but they are still eating meals without meat and not even thinking about it. Maybe it’s not enough vegan enough to make you happy, but it IS something more than nothing.

        This feels very culture/location specific. A majority of people probably don’t eat a lot of meat, a majority of Americans do eat a lot of meat.

          They probably eat more than they need to. But high meat prices should put some brakes on that.
