Imagine not only being so loathsome that you get dumped by an AI, but so delusional that you think that’s the AI’s fault.

😂 Honestly I start to feel bad for someone like this. The entire point of these LLMs is basically allowing someone to live inside of a pretend reality where they can’t be hurt… and this guy can’t even manage that.

Because no one is telling them otherwise, and Sam Altman is everywhere in feeds and their apps depicting it (to the absolute edge he legally can) as some kind of true intelligence.

I will immediately disregard anyone who is talking about their “AI” girlfriends/boyfriend/partner in any capacity, be it praising or complaining. This is complete fucking lunacy from top to bottom.

weirdly i’m less weirded out by the people for whom it’s a sexual thing. like i get needing an outlet for your way too specific smut roleplay. but you can’t replace human emotion with a simulacrum.

Chatbots are funhouse mirrors. They reflect you back at yourself.

Someone being dumped by their own reflection has implications.

I don’t find it terrifying at all. I just think the “boyfriend” is laughably pathetic.

I wish more human women had the freedom, choice, self-respect, and/or strength not to have relationships with men who refuse to treat them as equals. Society as a whole would be better off. Of course, this is an oversimplification of a complex problem, and everyone has their own unique and important story. I think it’s generally true, though.

This is clearly fake. You can make an LLM say whatever you want it to say. This one is not even funny.

If a human has a problem with humans that use reason and feminism there is nothing unusual about a human having a problem with an AI using reason and feminism.

Not a horror show. Probably just revisiting what dealing with humans is like for that person.

AI doesn’t “use” reason, it uses statistics. Ascribing any sort of meaningful opinion or agency to it is scientifically inaccurate. Getting angry at AI for anything it “says” is like getting angry at your calculator, or alarm clock.
