The Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday postponed the release of a key annual report central to future inflation data.
Why it matters: The BLS — charged with collecting critical data on employment, prices and more — did not explain the reasoning for the delay or when it might ultimately be released. There is heightened concern about the future of U.S. statistics, including the politicization and accuracy of crucial data that affects the stock market and interest rates.
You just know that the BLS has the inflation numbers and those numbers must look REALLY bad. And the people who haven’t yet been fired by authoritarian bully Treason Trump don’t want to be fired so they are delaying the release of the numbers on Trump’s orders so they can figure out a way to fudge and alter the data. There is no way that this is unrelated to Trump firing the BLS head. And because the BLS inflation statistic are tied to things like social security increases and TIPS bond yields, this is also going to steal money from American’s pockets.
Wow how totally not suspicious, unusual, and damaging.
This can mean only one thing.
They need more time to fudge the numbers.
They are working on a name change to Bureau of Urban Labor, Living Standards, Housing, and Iterative Statistics…
