    Man I really don’t understand Jacobin anymore…

    Gassing up Jeffries while pretending Schumer is the norm for the Dem Senate?

    Jacobin should be ringing bells louder than anyone that these two are lame ducks who don’t represent the DNC, the voters, or even Dem members of Congress.

    They’ve been lame ducks for over a year, and in less than a year congress votes on new leaders. And no matter what happens between now and then, they won’t be the best choices and they won’t win.

    The only reason they’re in leadership right now, is those elections were a week before the DNC chair election, so neoliberal threats still carried weight. They don’t anymore.

    And it’s hard to believe Jacobin can’t understand any of that.

      Is this non-lame duck DNC in the room with us right now? The assertion that this isn’t just how they always are warrants justification.
