In the meantime i can recommend metager to you, much cheaper (i charged my account at creation with 10€, i’ve used 3,80€ currently after a few months of usage). You can configure how many tokens your search will use, if you want search suggestions for a fraction of a search and so on. i’m very happy with it and will stay with it, it’s very cost efficient.
Edit: I forgot to mention that it is ad-free when paid, has dark mode, open sourced under the AGPL Licence, has blacklist and bangs support, and offers completely anonymous search requests by generating cryptographical tokens if you wish to.
