If they don’t want to be eaten then why do they keep telling people to gobble gobble them up

If turkeys didn’t want to be eaten why are they so delicious?

I was on board until I read

“Chickens are intelligent and sensitive to the welfare of their peers.”

Chickens are assholes to everything. That doesn’t mean they need to boxed up in tiny crates and killed. But I’ll still say they are mean little fuckers with small brains.

I love that so much! I’m actually laughing I’ve never seen that before! I fucking love it! I’m a meat eater who raises and eats his own meat and strives to give my animals the best life they can until they have"one bad day". But I absolutely adore the satirical irony of that site.

I have eaten dog meat before. It’s kind of gamey. Not particularly great, but not bad either.

Myth: Turkeys are killed by the industry for that purpose

Truth: Turkeys just mystersouly show up dead after falling into the big killing machine that the industry had nothing to do with

Being eaten by a superior creature is part of a turkey’s lifecycle and who are we to deny them that honor?

Neither does grass that is why cut grass smells like that. It is a chemical compound to notify birds and other insect eating animals that there is free dinner.

I love how someone downvoted you for this comment, not understanding reality that it’s been scientifically proven that it’s a distress call.

Consciousness doesn’t mean it doesn’t have defencive measures.

Carnivorous plants don’t have consciousness, but they still know when and how to eat bugs that land on them.
