My friend here wants to know if this also applies to ships that are serious but were named as if they were a parody.

You hear that, Boaty? The OP wasn’t even referring to ships as in boats, but as in made up relationships between most often fictional characters. No one will get upset with your plans to make a parody account for the Titan Submersible Crushed Can.

Though I think the joke can be made in a single post and it doesn’t need a whole parody account.
