If the workers who enable others to work cannot remain safe or healthy, the economic system they sustain becomes unstable. As Nathania Ebegbare writes, migrant care providers deserve straightforward pathways to permanent residency, the freedom to change employers, and protection from the exploitation documented across current programs.

    Nobody who isn’t a citizen deserves a future here. Can the come here yes but they don’t deserve to be here and can be asked to leave.

      Unless you’re First Nations/Métis/Inuit you live on stolen land. Where do you draw the line on who deserves to be here? Anybody who came after your ancestors got here?
