Imperialism is capitalism. Imperialism is the financial exploitation (i.e. resource theft, wealth extraction) of the entire world by a handful of monopolies, not “big country does war and trade deals”. Social Democrats are welfare capitalists. Since capitalism is destroying all of us, welfare capitalists certainly aren’t going to get us out of this mess. They only make capitalism more tolerable for the already oppressed working class so that capitalists, monopolies, and big banks can continue to rake in the dough by exploiting the already impoverished poor.
