Why do you think social democrats are scum?
Social Democracy in the global north still depends on imperialism and still involves a dictatorship of capital.
Doesn’t rely on imperialism, but it does rely on capitalism… But that’s also the point. Social democracy is an attempt to reach a point of balance and compromise between the two extremes, and lo and behold; it fucking works. Who would’ve thought? If people can just sit down in a room and talk together like adults, they can actually build a society that benefits the majority.
Social democracy in the global north relies on imperialism, resulting in the plunder of the global south for super-profits. It isn’t about balance or compromise, it’s about maintaining capitalism and bribing workers domestically into not rebelling. It also doesn’t work, nor does it benefit the majority considering they are imperialist. When people sit down and talk together, establishing socialism, that’s when the majority benefit without requiring plunder of the global south.
Imperialism is capitalism. Imperialism is the financial exploitation (i.e. resource theft, wealth extraction) of the entire world by a handful of monopolies, not “big country does war and trade deals”. Social Democrats are welfare capitalists. Since capitalism is destroying all of us, welfare capitalists certainly aren’t going to get us out of this mess. They only make capitalism more tolerable for the already oppressed working class so that capitalists, monopolies, and big banks can continue to rake in the dough by exploiting the already impoverished poor.
It absolutely relies on imperialism to fund itself and externalise the crisis and contradictions of capitalism. It works so well for the people in the global south being super exploited to fund it (sarcasm). “A point of balance” between we should strive for a better world and we should rape and pillage the world and fuck all the nonwhite people is fucking idiotic. This centrist nonsense slop could only come from someone smelling their own farts so hard it’s a surprise you haven’t asphyxiated. Someone in the imperial core so immensely privileged and detached from reality that your opinion is honestly worth less than that of an out and out reactionary.
