I once saw a busker in my town. He started playing what sounded like Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. It was never really popular in the UK, so it was unusual to hear. I also quite like the song so I hung about a bit to see how a gruff looking middle-aged man would sing it.
Turned out he was just playing Wonderwall really badly.
I am a huge fan of Oasis. I have an arm tattoo of the band logo, and saw them twice when they came round.
I’m also from Manchester so theres a certain nostalgia to them for me.
That said, if I never hear Wonderwall again I’ll be happy. Not an incredible song at all.
The rest of theirs, though, are beautiful to me :)
