I have met 1 couple who did. The parents of a friend of mine when younger. They would give you their shirt if you were cold. The father retired after a career in business accounting and decided to go around to churches helping them handle their finances to best help people. He will would not assist any church which was on tv or radio. Whole idea was stuff like what type of bank accounts to use for most return but having enough liquid to help people today. How do you track all money people give in tithes? You want to offer free lunch to all who come to service on Sunday to help the less fortunate, will that impact your ability to offer temporary housing for those who are sleeping on the street?
