I’m guessing the Christian argument would be exposure. Those in church get taught morality. Not everyone in school goes to church. They can force everyone to hear it.

These people believe in moral dessert, do good things and good things will happen to you. It’s bonkers nonsense but a lot of people will break if they confront their own mortality and brief existence.
