        Yup my conservative school gave kids detention if they didn’t stand correctly and say the words.

        It definitely hasn’t been a requirement for all students, though some schools and teachers may try, and/or won’t tell students they have the right to refuse to participate.

          It’s illegal to force a kid to do the pledge in the states. Well. Had been illegal. Unsure how long that’ll be until it goes before a corrupt Supreme Court.

            Regardless of illegal/legal, students are far more at the whims of their school administration than anything else.

      It is yes but it’s just what we grew up doing as children when we didn’t know any better it’s not like we’re all super on board with it
