Donald Trump in an interview with NBC News Sunday, confirmed that he plans to attend an unusual meeting organized by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that will gather hundreds of senior military officers near Washington on Tuesday.
Hegseth last week summoned hundreds of senior military leaders, who are stationed all over the world, to Washington for a meeting of the Pentagon’s top brass.
Senior admirals and generals were not informed beforehand about the purpose of the meeting.
It will be hard for all of those high-ranking military members to ignore how utterly incompetent Hegseth and Trump are. Not that they shouldn’t know already, but having it on display right in front of you and having the opportunity to discuss it with other people you respect in person will be a whole other thing.
Of course there will be crazies that support this administration, but I am hopeful this will be a good way for the sane to gain some solidarity on the need to be ready to terf these morons when there are illegal orders.
