I’m a straight man, but I’ve ALWAYS been pro-gay, because so many of my friends have been gay over the years. I can’t choose my sexuality, and I never assumed they could either. Now I have VERY close family members who are gay, and they mean literally EVERYTHING to me. I would do anything to protect them. ANYTHING.

So never assume that a straight person isn’t truly committed to the LGBTQIA+ cause. We have gay folks we truly love with our entire being, too, whom we would kill and die to protect.
