Leaving a voicemail doesn’t count. No matter how you spin it, a “phone” that doesn’t have the ability to make a traditional phone call is a joke.

minus-squareFizz@lemmy.nzlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 days agoNZ is behind in this regard but in a lot of other countries the government and services like your mechanic would be available on WhatsApp. If I really needed a phone number there is plenty of services that provide VoIP numbers that functionally work like a normal number.

NZ is behind in this regard but in a lot of other countries the government and services like your mechanic would be available on WhatsApp.
