Reasonably raised bars are (allegedly) very comfortable. Excessively raised bars are just for funsies, like many things are.
They probably don’t care about your opinion on how it looks.
I ride a cruiser, and while my arms are no where near that high, they are higher than alot of other motorcycles. I will say it is quite comfortable over extended periods of time as it allows you to kinda relax and “fall” into the seat.
Which looks so stupid. Why is that even a thing? I don’t get it. But then again I don’t give 2 shits about Harley dudes or motorcycle culture.
