Anywhere but apps. In person, irl is where I’ve seen the most success.
Eeh depends, if the app is specifically made for dating or you use it to find a date? Your chance of success is low and i’d suggest to change strategy but if you find your love in a random chat of a random social without any intention of dating? Hell it can work very well
I think that dating can happen on apps or in person, I’ve had success with both. It’s a numbers game either way. Regardless I definitely learned don’t do food on the first date in case you need to bail!
Can go either way on your second point. I have also been friends with a colleague before working together and made friends with colleagues after starting. That being said it’s awkward when someone clearly has no personal life and tries to force it.
Agreed with the caveat that I shouldn’t be told to socialize in my off work hours with colleagues for team building if I’m not paid. It can happen organically, but work sponsored/mandated team building should be on company time.

My coworkers who are friends would disagree. Funnily enough I knew more than one before starting to work together.
Sounds boring. If I’m going to spend half my waking hours somewhere I might as well try and make it pleasant.
