Reminds me of Terrence McKenna’s statement on being cool. I was cool, until they changed what cool was. It’s always changing and it’s always kinda cringe. Anyone remember LMFAO or essentially the entirety of the 80’s? It’s always been cringe. It’s just that our cringe we considered normal and cool.
I used to be with ‘it’, but then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ anymore and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary. It’ll happen to you!

I am shocked those songs came out so long ago. They’ll always feel like “New ICP songs” to me, but I also graduated from school in the mid-2000s, so the world had many more juggalos in it than there are now.
My experience with juggalos has been “universally crusty and brash, yet inclusive and with a vehement seething hatred for bigotry and almost always religion,” so their pivot to God was an interesting development for me.
I love the fursuit thing though, that’s just sweet.
Eh, this only applies to people into popular culture, which the smart and curious of any age never are. I’ve never met or heard of anyone at any age who isn’t braindead being obsessed with celebrities.

Just listen to Insane Clown Posse. You’ll never be cool but you’ll never worry about it again.
!juggalos@lemmy.world !
I don’t really care for their music but that song has a good message and their inclusion principles are respectable
juggalos can be some oddballs and I swear they all live in my town, but I aint gonna tell them to stop
Miracles everywhere in this bitch.
