Allies of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani swept the region’s Democratic House primaries Tuesday evening, the latest example of liberal-minded voters shifting their preferences.

And after Brad Lander, Darializa Avila Chevalier, and Claire Valdez won—all of whom have been vocal critics of Israel’s genocide in Gaza—the biggest loser seemed to be MAGA world, which was left befuddled and irate that voters had turned away from candidates espousing the historically pro-Israel party line.

Appearing on Fox News, deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller complained that the “Democrat Party has abandoned [centrism] and instead adopted this radical, revolutionary, and in many cases, violent ideology that wants to tear America down, and destroy everything that we know and love, from top to bottom.”

Demon Rat Stephen Miller once again castigates the Democratic Party voters who endorse humanism & compassion for our friends & neighbors from wherever they originate, rejecting Miller’s pathetic hatred-infused policies

The fucking gall of an unapologetic fascist who wants to destroy habeas corpus, our Constitutional rights, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, our standing in the world and so much more, whining about the Democrats, ‘tearing America down’ is beyond belief.

The Democrats are already much further right than the Republicans were just a few decades ago, but they have been willing to let fascists like Miller constantly redefine the center and move them even further right year after year.

The Democratic Party machinery is doing everything they can to block progressive candidates, but maybe, just maybe the voters have had enough.

Miller is a purebred fascist, who delights in abusing rhetoric to advance his goals. He’ll happily engage in projection like this, with a big grin on his face, because he knows the rhetorical fight is rigged in his favor. His opponents have to care about the truth, and he doesn’t.

Everything from the right is a confession. A projection. They are stupid selfish people that struggle to understand other people.

JFC, these people will just keep up with their stupid intentional misnaming of the DemocratIC Party. It’s from the very top.

Can you imagine if Obama and everyone around him just started calling the Republican Party “the Repedopublican Party” and no one in the media even ever calls them on it?

It’s every fucking day with these assholes calling the Democratic Party “the Democrat Party”. The idiots in the base don’t know any better, but assholes like Miller and Donvict know exactly what they are doing. And so do the media.

Yet again Republicans make the democrats sound way cooler than they actually are.

      Right?

      What do Republicans love?

      • patriarchy
      • white nationalism
      • the taste of billionaire boot

      Did I miss anything?

Democratic voters continue to make electoral choices to further the ideals set forth in the Declaration of Independence & the US Constitution whenever possible

I guess, but only in the case of these progressive wins. The actual democratic party leadership is a dumpster fire of rightward leaning corruption and bribery powered betrayal of its voter base.

The party voter base is still way too centrist than it should be, largely because they falsely strategize that its the only way forward against republicans. if they are handed a new choice In the form of progressive candidates I don’t know how many Americans will vote progressive. But I hope its a majority of the dems.

      Democrat Party has abandoned [centrism]

      If only!

Maybe they’re slowly beginning to, which would be nice.
