Is there anything that isn’t Ottawa’s fault according to her?
Too many people rely on oil jobs. They still seem to think the sector will grow forever.
I worked in the oil patch in Calgary for a little over 30 years. It has always been a cyclical boom and bust business. You save money when the work is plentiful and live modestly when the inevitable downturn comes and the layoffs start.
Isn’t it Imperial Oil’s fault?
Our Premier blames Ottawa when she stubs her toe; ignore her
Or the world fault?

Yeah no shit! The world is moving away from oil feuls for decades now, bad world!
Even before then, it was a boom and bust sort of business.
2024, 29 BILLION IN SUBSIDIES. If fossil fuels still has to cut jobs after that then fuck em. Let the industry fail.
What I don’t get if oil is so great why does the industry need so many subsides.
And the UCP can’t afford to pay teachers…
And Canada can’t afford to do disease research.
I hate the feds but I hate my premier more.
Always everyone else’s fault when it comes to the UCP. Even though if someone was to link to every one of their misdeeds, it would take several minutes to scroll down. But yes, everyone else’s fault.
