“Could have been an email,” another general said

Generals who were flown from across the world to attend the meeting with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday said there was no point in doing it, with one calling it a “waste of money.”

“More like a press conference than briefing the generals,” another attendee told Politico. “Could have been an email.” A third called it a “total waste of money.”

Otherwise decent people can still be cowards. That’s why everyone with good intentions isn’t labeled a hero.

It sounds like a weird move, but if bravery immediately removes you from the equation, cowardice could put you in a position to one day be a hero.

This would be great if there was any indication at all this was going to happen. Meanwhile, the US is sitting on a few dozen shitbags with the knowhow and the information to stop this who are doing fuck all- where is Vindman, Brown, McMaster, Esper, Mattis, Maguire, Kruse, Plummer….?

These clowns have not earned the benefit of the doubt.

That’s an even more certain way to get thrown out of the building
