    It’s actually all 3D! I did use a free scene from open3Dlabs but the lighting and composition is mine

        For those interested:

        • cycles renderer
        • put a sun lamp or a big bright area lamp
        • put some blurs in compositing
        • tweak the exposure

        I rarely do it. I often use free mmd bases online. Then I rigify them using uunya’s mmd append addon.

        I do rig things using the weight paint mode, but it’s rarer.

        … And in that case the whole character is free to download as it comes from a game. Just did a birthday pic :3
