Donald Trump is leading a deeply corrupt, fascist administration that seeks to punish and imprison his enemies – big and small, real and perceived. The unpopular president and his team are laying the groundwork to try to steal the 2026 midterms, and they’re not even trying to hide it.

Democrats in Washington, meanwhile, are hyper-focused on… condemning a left-wing podcaster, Hasan Piker, and distorting his comments criticizing Zionists as a way to marginalize and block the rise of anti-Israel voices on the left.

With less than 10 weeks to go before the election, the opposition party is using this crucial time to demonstrate their continued fealty to Israel – despite its deep and growing political unpopularity in the U.S., its horrifying genocide in Gaza, and the ruinous Iran war that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dragged America’s idiot president into.

It makes me livid that the danger Hasan is pointing to is real and yet centrist Dems can’t even handle the subject being brought up without having performative meltdowns.

His influence is in large part due to the mass audience he has attracted by speaking to the concerns of the working class.

I understand that. Far be it from me to say he has accomplished nothing of real value. But if he doesn’t stand up for the vulnerable and acts like a bully then he’s no hero at all. His good acts become the excuse for him to get away with shit. He’s just a new generation of Good Ol Boy waiting to take the place of the ones we’re trying to delouse ourselves from.

If standing up for Palestinians and Palestinian supporters isn’t standing up for the vulnerable, I don’t know what is.

If he doesn’t start with his own audience, I don’t trust him to do the same with people who aren’t paying him.

I haven’t seen a specific behavior you’ve seen from Hasan that would be “garbage behavior”. Just the vague feeling that he’s the next generation of a “good ol’ boy” and he’s toxic? Surely if he was as bad as you claim there would be something you could point to, no?

I’m assuming you’ve never seen more than a clip or two of his streams, or know that much about him besides what you’ve been told. The low hanging fruit of criticism is that Hasan actually said that “America deserved 9/11 dude”, pretty sure he got banned for a bit from that.

I want to know what he’s been doing that makes him a garbage person and i haven’t seen anything other than vague feelings.

              I haven’t seen

“I didn’t see it so it didn’t happen” said every bully enabling schoolteacher ever.

              I’m assuming

I thought if you didn’t see it then it wasn’t true! It’s not your first mistake here, but I’m gonna make sure it’s your last. Bye.

I think we’re all still waiting to hear what it is that happened.

Piker has so many clips and videos of all the outrageous stuff he’s said over the years. I would have a little more respect if they actually provided a concrete example of what they’re accusing Hasan of then this wiffle-waffle game of guessing.

Yeah, he’s abrasive sometimes. Usually I find it justified. We should all get a little more abrasive when it comes to things like genocide.

If you have followed Hasan for any length of time in the last 2 years and don’t know what I’m talking about, then what’s there to say? You’re okay with his shit. You’ve seen it and won’t admit to it, or you condone it. This is why America’s schools are full of victim blaming and bully enabling. I’m disappointed in my fellow leftists for allowing this toxic parasite to rise to power among them.
