Wait… Who has a apartment building group chat? Am I missing out or that just weird?

We had one in the first building I lived in the UK, it was handy for gossip lol (“what was that screaming last night on the top floor?”). The address was posted on the entrance hall cork board. Ever since I moved from there, I wished that my subsequent buildings/neighbourhoods also had one, but even if one exists, it’s deathly silent for months at a time :/

The screaming reminded me of one time I was walking my dog around the apartment complex at like 10pm. As I walked by the one building I heard some woman scream from the third floor “oh yeah fuck my pussy papi” at the top of her lungs. I have no idea who screamed or who lived there but I guess she was having a good time.

I don’t know why but lots of people around eastern europe have that either in Viber or WhatsApp, and nothing else. That’s where the HOA lead, uhm, does stuff… IDK, I am in a private home.

I think it’s somewhat common, especially for smaller buildings. Mine has one. It’s optional to be part of it, but pretty useful.
