If they do have some brain cells to rub together they will get stuck on short term gains for themselves which in the long run is fucking dumb. Either way you slice it dumb, just fucking dumb.

Even if it costs more to fix the mistakes it might actually be cheaper if people don’t win wage increases and layoffs continue. I’m not saying this will work but it seems to be at least part of the logic.
