The sitcom format in general just doesn’t work for modern audiences. The format needed entirely self contained narratives which could be watched with a whole family - that isn’t what the market demands these days.

I think Seinfield sucked but I think all sitcom sucks, mostly because I didn’t grow up in a house that watched them + moved to streaming before I had my own place.
