The biggest difference is qanon actually believed that politicians running a pedophile ring was a bad thing. They were just misinformed as to who was running it.
They’re the part of maga that bailed when the first Trump/Epstein files dropped.
This isn’t specifically about qanon and/or MAGA, but there was definitely a subset of conspiracy theorists who saw Epstein revelations and asked what it was a distraction from. It’s pretty crazy to me that they got their holy grail and then decided to doubt it. (Again, not a universal thing.)
We could say the same about MAGAts and Christian Nationalists. All MAGAts are Christian Nationalists. I’m not saying the post should be different nor do I have an immediate idea for an alternative panel though.
