I’m just grateful I was smart and driven enough to get out of there and I didn’t make stupid choices that would have made my life miserable as theirs were.

There were no better people to be around.
We don’t get to pick our parents or where we grow up. I’m just grateful I was smart and driven enough to get out of there and I didn’t make stupid choices that would have made my life miserable as theirs were.
