How about we don’t? What’s the reason to support this sloppification, why would we need a vibecoded Launcher? To play the predatorily monetised Fortnite which comes with a rootkit (so I’ve heard)?
Not defending but there’s 2 things:
- Vibecoding, IMO, is ok (with a few rules) as long as it’s merely technical and it doesn’t touch the art direction (and also human coders review/check the LLM-assisted code for any mistakes or problems)
- Fart Night is a gratis game and it wants to make money somehow, so having microtransactions isn’t something to be surprised by.

Heroic exists, you know?
Heroic is so great. I started running Rocket League from that instead of Steam because Heroic is so fast to start. Love it, even if the game has less functionality because of it (which is pretty pathetic considering Epic is its “home” platform since a while back).
