This man is his own worst enemy. He’s one of those CEOs that used to have street cred (being of the core minds behind Unreal and the Unreal engine - in the trenches, not just as a “businessman”), but lost touch many years ago and is doing everything he can to ruin his reputation.
Instead of enjoying his fame and Unreal/Fortnite fortune, he’s just endlessly whining and bickering. Despite having won the game engine wars against everyone, I don’t think he’ll ever get over the fact that Valve under Gabe Newell’s leadership not only came up with a better and more successful first person shooter franchise, but also a better and more successful digital distribution platform.
