So this is strangely specific but on nobara I have a second audio output slider for each application when I look at volume controls. Its not functional at affecting the volume of the app.

open the terminal and type pavucontrol and see what that looks like. Is it also showing that, or are you just seeing 2 in your DE sounds or something?
Audio is one of the very short list of things windows actually handles better. I have a very nice DAC for my iems and on Linux it is stuck at sub cd quality. On windows I can go 32bit audio :/
You can also do 32-bit audio on linux. Also what do you mean by sub-CD?

Can you help my audio crackles whenever my CPU starts to do something resource intensive? Or with KWIN under Wayland lagging as well when the CPU also starts to cook itself? Breaking keyboard inputs and mouse. BTW this is when I intentionally overload the CPU lol. I could just switch back to x11 like the bitch I am though. But like I enjoy having a GPU rendered desktop and not going through x11 for everything.

I’m in my mid 40s and this terrifies me, honestly. I’ve seen a lot of images people point out are AI and don’t notice it until later. Some are super obvious, but others I might never notice (and doubly so if I don’t stop to actually examine all the details of every image I see and who has time for that?)

You know what’s worse? After finding out that image was AI, I then found out a content creator I enjoyed was AI and stealing work from an Italian artist.

I saw this Ai image meme previously. And it didn’t catch my interest. It just didn’t click. The text was there, the he-man. But the sound wasnt playing in my head. It was dead silent. Now I see this new take with a capture from the heyaheya he-man youtube parody with a real guy I saw some years ago and the sound came. I had the music in my head, and some images flashback. Ai don’t have feeling. They’re just bland, like an ice-cream without the cream. Just ice.
But I was told that Linux has never had any audio problems and I was completely imagining all the ones I thought I had.
Basically 100% of my problems since switching to linux have been audio related.

On the topic of audio. Does anyone know how to fix microphones in the game Squad? My mic works for discord and also in the steam microphone test, it just doesn’t seem to register in game. I really want to play more of these teamwork based games but it is really hard to do so when I can’t effectively communicate with the people in my squad.
I am on TuxedoOS with a HyperX Quadcast if that helps with troubleshooting.
