i thought the arch was stupid
then i saw this (CW: crimes against good taste)

that’s what he wants it to look likeJust imagine if the arch got built and conformed with this administration’s standards of quality control…during the ribbon cutting ceremony, just as he snaps the scissors (with smaller than typical handles), a large piece of concrete spontaneously spalls off and lands on him and his entourage. The chunk could be called Trump’s Arch Nemesis.
It was a load-bearing ribbon
That would be one of the best ways for him to die so he can’t be turned into a martyr
Nah, it would just be a liberal conspiracy to crack the arch in just such a way that it splats him. They’re a cult, cults can always find a way to posthumously martyr their dead.
I hope she does. Fuck that guy
*sigh* What arch!!?
his creative prowess shines through as usual
Nazi arch
What’s the rush indeed.
Under the Administrative Procedure Act, you, a citizen, can’t challenge an illegal agency action until it’s a final agency action.
This came up in the recent supreme court case about the post office ballot crap. It went up first based just on the Trump executive order, and the Supremes said it’s too soon. A Trump order is not a final agency action. So then they had to wait for the post office to publish the “final rules”, and then it went back up again, and then Supremes said, “okay, this time it is final, and also plainly illegal. lol.”
So the game they’re playing now in this arch case, is they’re going to claim that there is no final agency action right up until the final plans are published, about half an hour before the construction crews move in, and right around 5:00 pm on a holiday weekend.
The arch case judge is really not buying into that plan.
They have to wait for it to be a fait accompli first, of course. /s
