Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel made it crystal clear on Sunday that Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) was no longer welcome in the state’s Democratic party.

Hertel posted to X after Stevens yanked her support from Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D) and gave it to his Republican challenger, “Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.”

I’ve seen too many people acting confused. There’s no breakdown. She’s a hollow bell tolling for money and AIPAC must have dumped cash in her lap.

Incoming Fox News correspondent seat, I bet.

Dude the Hasbara bots are all over the social media posts about this, it’s actually insane once you become aware of it. Just a whole lotta pfps with hats and glasses in cabs of unspecified blue collar worker vehicles with some variation of “She’s standing up for America!!”

Fortunately they also seem to have very low likes and might be getting suppressed by the Meta/Grok/Oracle anti-spam algorithms. It’s very weird.

Wasn’t this the same woman who was called out for concern trolling the other day on Some More News Podcast?

Yeah, she seemed slippery as fuck. This behavior isn’t surprising.

Stevens specifically name checks him in her video saying she’s endorsing Mike Rodgers. It’s actually insane that the Republicans biggest op is a fucking Twitch streamer and his dog.

If you’re from an evangelical christian, Republican background… no it isn’t.

These are the same people that declared that Pokemon and Harry Potter were demonic/satanic.

These are the same people who fund anti science, creationist ‘think tanks’, that are literally all frauds.

These are the same people that see tolerance of holidays other than their own as a literal war against them, that see entirely mundane, broad demographic ethnic shifts as a specifically concocted and executed conspiracy against specifically them.

These are the same people that believe that a hysterical hateful screaming preacher or one in a self induced babbling trance is literally in direct contact with god.

These are the same people who voted for their entire agricultural workforce to be deported and were then legitimately shocked and confused when they thing they wanted to happen, happened.

These are the same people who claim to understand how a moral and just society should operate, and then consistently rape children and abuse their wives and indulge in the sexual acts and fetishes that they deem to be sin… and then even after this, deny and downplay those things while simultaneously projecting all their own surreptitious behaviors onto some other person or group.

… they thrive on cognitive dissonance and projecting all their fears and hatreds onto a specific person or group, and then orienting their entire worldview as a battle against the thing that, to them, symbolizes everything bad.

They are hateful, delusional, dangerous members of a corrupt death cult, who are often literally deliberately trying to bring about their idea of the apocalypse.

Inventing and then defining sacrificial scape goats, and then waging war against them, is the core of what they do, how they exist in the world.

Perverse, insane, projection of delusional hatred and cruelty is their way of life.

“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

          Matthew 7:18 ESV

Excellent comment. I’ve known a few that are not like this, who genuinely believe and try to live up to the words in red, but your comment is a precise and accurate description of just so many now. If anything, an understatement.

But I would add that I’m sorry you are personally familiar enough with it to be able to describe it this well.

GOP tossing his thirst traps on the jumbotron at their convention tell you everything you needs to know about why they are obsessed with him:

          https://aftermath.site/rnc-hasan-piker-meat-pic-thirst-trap/

The image was shown during the portion of the sizzle reel depicting the dangers of socialism, after footage of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and images of people waving communist flags. The intended message is clear: Hasan Piker is a dangerous, communist threat. But I am not really sure that depicting your enemy as extremely fuckable is a wise strategy.

Mike Rodgers has made it clear he’s against Trans rights, he’s against equal pay for women, he’s against minimum wage increases, and he’s very proud of his ‘‘100% anti abortion voting record’’ in the past he’s said he would respect Michigan’s right to abortion laws, but shifted further right this cycle saying he’ll support federal bans on abortion. So in a fight between “won’t disavow a commercial that says the US funding Isreal and joining Israel in attacking Iran has led to high gas prices” or “will do everything in his power to harm women’s equality and human rights” she prefers harming women.

Don’t forget that Rogers is also in favor of adding even more hurdles to disability benefits and her partner is a disability attorney. Those billable hours must be worth more than people’s survival.

I haven’t researched Rodgers, but if everything you’re saying is true, then it looks like the Michigan Democratic Party made the correct choice.

I mean, in this MAGA timeline, obviously, it doesn’t matter what, it’s wrong to support any Republican unless the alternative is like a serial killer or something… on reflection, I think a serial killer might be preferable to a Republican, since the serial killer would cause less harm.

What makes this all especially delicious is that there was SUPPOSED to be an event today for “Party Unity” with Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC).

El-Sayed said Stevens shouldn’t be there because she would be “a distraction.”

One of Clyburn’s people issued a statement saying: “Abdul can’t uninvite her because it’s not his event”.

Then she went full on nuts, getting kicked out of the party. She uninvited herself. LOL.

Honestly, I’m not sure if she’s trying to grift to the right (and is really bad at it) or is having an honest mental breakdown. Maybe the mental breakdown is the reason for the sloppy grift.

I guess the “Big Tent” party isn’t so big now, is it?

That’s textbook cult behavior on full display.
