        Birthday 0 tops my list. I don’t remember it, of course, and I understand it was likely quite traumatic, but the results echo through my life like nothing else. And I took my first breath, so that must have been crazy good. Cause I love breathing.

        My second best birthday I looked around and had a bunch of people I loved, and that loved me, all having a good time.

        My 6th best birthday, I knocked on a random door what had lots of loud talking behind it at the Sheraton in Denton, and shared my birthday cake with a room of strangers.

          My dad beat the crap out of my mom’s boyfriend for breaking into the garage and smashing the car windows one year on my birthday.

          … I, uh, don’t have a lot of other birthday stories.
