There is so much horrible shit going on that people don’t have the bandwidth absorb all of it. Also, until it directly affects them, they don’t give a fuck. Besides the fact that many southern republicans are propagandized into racism, Christian white nationalism, and various forms of fascism and isolationism.

Disney CAN do great Star Wars… I just finished season 7 of Clone Wars with the girlfriend (my third time)… Bad Batch, Tales, Andor & Rogue One. I enjoyed Solo, and the Jedi games, The Mandalorian started off strong. But for some reason they often choose not to, opting for quantity instead of quality.
