But if I assume people are stupid, I can just feel angry and superior about it. If it’s a solvable problem like education and news reform then I have to do work and also recognize that some of what created my views is the luck of my environment.

Be nice. Don’t take anything personally. Take political debates to the appropriate communities. Take personal disagreements & arguments to private messages.
No advertising, brand promotion, or guerrilla marketing.
