Aside from repeatedly alienating normal fucking people who just want to have a reasonably good life, social contracts, and not be a party to enabling genocide, the fact that the DNC leadership is so fucking up their own asses on the zero-sum dynamics is absolutely fucking infuriating.

The lesser evil is not enough anymore. Democrats lack political ambition. They lack a political platform that shows they will actually stop the slide USA has been on since the 1970’s.
I recently heard that If wages share of the economy were today as they were in the 70’s, a minimum wage American worker would have $1000 more per month!

Obviously voting Republican makes the downwards slope steeper for average Americans, but it’s still a downwards slope with the Democrats.

For instance AFAIK while Obamacare made things better for most average people, the result remains that it increased the share of health care paid by the lower half of incomes. Meaning the rich again benefited economically.

USA is on the level of a developing country regarding healthcare, despite being one of the richest countries in the world!

Maybe it’s because they don’t actually represent our interests and they are completely impotent. Just a guess.

Kinda hard to recruit people to your side when all you have to offer is broken promises and inaction.

I’m only registered as a Democrat so I can vote in my state’s primaries. I imagine that plus inertia are the main things propping up the current numbers.

Why does this graph not show total registrations? Fuck the Democratic Party. They’ve dropped the ball consistently for too long. I only hope that enough leftists continue to vote in any races that survive this administration.

Why does this graph not show total registrations?

Because that might change the narrative from one of dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party to one of disenfranchisement?

(I don’t know if that’s true – I, for one, am pretty fucking dissatisfied with the Democratic Party – but it’s the possibility that most readily comes to mind.)
