    I’m not saying it’s not bad out there, but I have a lot of skin in the game and refuse to be a victim, I have changed people’s attitudes and will continue to do so. I fully understand when someone says they’re burnt out though.

      I totally respect you for that. 🙂

      But, FWIW, I don’t look at my refusal to engage with them as being a victim (though I admit in reality I’ll be among the last group in Trump’s camps unless he locks people up for rhetoric - and also that may not have been what you meant), I look at it as standing on my right to not allow toxicity in my life.

      When I was a wimpy kid I didn’t have a choice. Now I’m an I-don’t-give-a-fuck middle aged man, and I very much enjoy controlling who gets my attention and time. I find it supremely liberating. :)
