That joke is so old, but mentally hearing it with Data’s elocution made it brand new again for a moment.
I can’t find an earlier source than Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca a couple of months ago. There’s just been a lot of reposters lately on here claiming their niche.
If you search for the text of the joke, you should find it from like, I don’t know, the 80s, the 90s, something like that. I mean, the joke’s gotta be 30 or 40 years old at the very least.
The new spin on it was having Data tell the joke, in my opinion.
