It’s because that’s an impact rated bit.
They have a thinner section that flexes a little bit to prevent the bits from shattering when used in an impact driver.
All the different brands like to put a little ring with their colors on the torsion zone.
Looks like it’s from a crappy screw gun. Bits that small always seem to be terrible.
That yellow band means it’s either a DeWalt locking bit, or a cheap knockoff of the DeWalt bits
