For the people blowing this up, I’ll repeat what I said in another comment:

When I first read this article, not much had come out in the details of what happened and I had assumed the discussion was much more civil than it was later revealed to be. The guy still deserves jail time regardless but it seems significantly more likely now that this was a case of malicious intent turned into claims of “an accident”. Even if he didn’t know it was loaded he still took intentional actions.

I still stand by my statement of the twitter post obviously being inflammatory and rage baiting however.
