When Balint’s time expired, and the out lawmaker yielded back, Bondi asked for a moment to respond, and used it to go on the offensive: “You didn’t ask Merrick Garland anything about Epstein,” she said. Balint shot back: “Weak sauce.”

Bondi then escalated: “And with this anti-Semitic culture right now, she voted against a resolution …”

Balint cut her off: “Oh really? Do you want to go there, attorney general?” she said. “Talking about antisemitism to a woman who lost her grandfather in the Holocaust?”

The lawmaker then got up and left the room.

Bernie pretended to give Israel the benefit of the doubt, didn’t have anything to say, until a year after they started the reprisals against their ghettos.

I don’t know what you are even talking about otherwise here. My point was clear. This lady supported overseas what is now being adopted against her at home.

The targeting of civilians is a war crime, no matter who does it. Israel’s blanket denial of food, water, and other necessities to Gaza is a serious violation of international law and will do nothing but harm innocent civilians. The United States has rightly offered solidarity and support to Israel in responding to Hamas’ attack. But we must also insist on restraint from Israeli forces attacking Gaza and work to secure UN humanitarian access. Let us not forget that half of the two million people in Gaza are children. Children and innocent people do not deserve to be punished for the acts of Hamas.

He gave them the benefit of the doubt from the start. I remember him doing it, so don’t tell me he didn’t. Maybe you should look at some of the other things he said, even as he gave empty lip service to this. He was saying they have a right to defend themselves, and otherwise didn’t say shit until a year after, not loudly anyway.

He’s better than the rest, but he’s not perfect. The entire point I’m making, is that they pretend to believe people like Israel, even though they know they are lying. Bernie pretended like Israel was doing legitimate reprisals even when he knew better, whatever empty comments he also gave out notwithstanding.
