I honestly don’t like the channel, primarily because I just absolutely hate how they present pretty much every story.

I just want sober, measured, objective reporting, but apparently that’s too much to ask of almost anyone in journalism these days.

It’s not perfect, but some more news and their podcast “even more news” are good and they tend to wait to report on breaking stories until more facts come out, or at least state upfront that there is still a lot that they don’t know yet.

Lately, it’s kind of impossible to report on some of this shit without getting a little emotional. But they’re closer to tears than frothing angrily.

I think it does. There are some versions of their reporting I do like, and they actually pull in tons of great and relevant info, it isn’t just blowhard opinions.

Unfortunate that this is the one instead something more competent and less-clickbaity. It’s all ads. Like every other sentence its a fucking ad. When it’s not ads, it’s just audio clips. Maybe that’s what some people like I guess.

I wish something like Majority Report with Sam Seder was in their place.

Majority report is a generic liberal show as well.

You need to take a hard look at whatever echo chambers you’re in if you think the majority report is generic liberal.

I watched it myself it it became extremely obvious rapidly.

The Majority Report told people to vote for Kamala and pretended Kamala was the anti genocide vote.

The Majority Report told people to vote for Kamala

They definitely did do that and it was a good thing to do. If you believe that Kamala would not have been better in almost every regard than Trump, you live in a completely different reality than the rest of us.

pretended Kamala was the anti genocide vote

This is an outright lie. They constantly talked about how she was bad regarding Palestine and they constantly talk about how that lost her the election.

Whoa, hard disagree. It’s VERY progressive, not just left. Interviews are specific, content is curated well, and the crowd is way more knowledgeable than any others I’ve seen. Can be a bit dry because they really dig into the topics they discuss, but that’s why it’s great.

Majority Report claims USAID exists to help people instead of destabilize countries via soft power. https://youtu.be/fbA2uHceJbQ

They sometimes correctly identify issues but then their solution to the issue is “vote Democrat”

I really like Brian Taylor Cohen. Leading up to the election, they had them on Fox News a bunch of times, he tore them all on New asshole each time. It was hilarious.

      Plus, he’s gorgeous

I love how his videos include the context uninterrupted up front as opposed to Sam “pause it pause it pause it” Seder, but holy hell the clickbait titles from BTC are insufferable.

TRUMP CAMPAIGN ANNIHILATED, DESTROYED, SLAMMED, SUNK.

(Video of Brian explaining how a judge told Trump “Hey stop doing that for a little bit so we can figure out if it’s illegal or not.”)

MeidasTouch does NOT have good politics. Its a great place to go if you want court/ supreme court coverage (because they are almost all lawyers), but their political inclinations are shit.
