Nobody cares about a few hundred thousand dead civilians every few decades as long as gas is cheap. But the moment gas gets more expensive, maybe war is not such a good idea after all.
And here are some other tricks to save on gas. Try not driving a vehicle the size of a tank. Or even consider crazy ideas like using electricity to power your vehicle, even if it emasculates some alpha males. In fact, it’s also possible sometimes to walk or even use a bicycle!
If you still want to annoy everyone around with noise, just get an electric car from Hyundai. Their pedestrian warning system is so loud that I can hear them better than gas burning cars when I have the windows open.
Unfortunately, yes. I live in a tower on a busy four lane artery. There is a traffic light just in front of the building and when the windows are open I can hear some electric cars, like Hyundai, when they are going at low speed. Here is what they sound like. I can hear others and I’m slowly beginning to recognize what brand they are just by the noise, but an electric Hyundai is loud and obvious to me.
Yes that doesn’t sound very pleasant. Ive heard and liked the Zoe humming. Although MG for example has no sound at all and that’s also no problem really.
