MAGA shows support for Trump’s war in Iran, despite prominent conservative media figures pushing back against the president
Supporters of Donald Trump’s MAGA base overwhelmingly support the war in Iran, with nearly 90 percent backing the president’s military attacks, according to the polls.
CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten shared recent polling on MAGA’s approval of military action in Iran on Tuesday. An average of 89 percent approve of the war, while just 9 percent disapprove.
“This is tremendously popular among the Republican base,” Enten said of the U.S.-Israeli strikes that began more than two weeks ago.
Enten’s data was based on a post from Gabe Fleisher’s Wake Up To Politics Substack published last week. Referenced in Felisher’s post was an NBC News poll that found 90 percent of MAGA supporters backed the military strikes.
If even war won’t change their minds then I’m convinced nothing will. Guess its time for a Revolution
If 90% of maga supports the war and 26% of Americans support the war, then maga is, at most, 28.9% of Americans identify as MAGA.

“We asked a group of people defining themselves as approving of everything Trump does if they approve of this thing Trump did, and the results are overwhelming!” What would be more interesting is whether that actual group has stayed the same size ever since he made his latest decisions
Yeah, there has been a trend of people claiming they are disillusioned with Trump over gas prices and starting another war. 90% approval seems “high”.
Except that somehow the number of so called maga republicans has actually been increasing

The most unrealistic part of that sequence is where the old lady realizes her mistake, admits she was wrong, and says she’s sorry about her “up yours” statement.

Is the same sort of poll cited in stories yesterday that said 71% of Americans are in favor of the SAVE act? A poll that was actually conducted by a right-wing group but published by Harvard (or something like that)

Most would be rejected for age-related reasons. There are young trumpets but the majority are literal boomers and/or their parents. Either way, they should all be fed their own teeth.

The “maga” people were probably all quite in favor of Iraq. They didn’t listen to liberals and were so angry when Iraq turned out like the liberals told them it would. Damn those poindexter liberals, knowing shit and all that! Fuck those guys, we aren’t going to learn anything from this, that’s what the liberals want us to do! So they had to pretend they were teabaggers for a while and never heard of this W guy.
Then along came the nearly-perfect candidate, saying all the shit that Faux says, and also said the Iraq war was a mistake and that gave them all the permission structure they needed to be their worst selves AND openly and gleefully vote Republican again, at least if it was Donvict or someone he endorsed.
This doesn’t match other polling, and ultra negative views on Israel among the young.
No, it is way higher, I forget what the other polls were but I think 70% of R’s in favor, over half of independents against it, and most all dems against it, for a total of like over 50 against it and 30 some for it if I recall.
Responses were gathered 2/27 to 3/3 before consequences showed up, and 9% still identifying as MAGA but going against trump on something so big is significant
One of their main defining demands that they can actually articulate is staying out of foreign wars. Every other demand is just weird like, “no more woke” and they can’t define woke. This one demand so was stupidly straightforward and yet at the first chance they miss supporting it and buckle to the song of the orange siren.
Because it’s the only one they can say out loud and know they aren’t being complete assholes.
Their real main sticking points are “I hate the left and enjoy their suffering and I hate brown people.” Anything else they say is just convenient in the moment.
And “the left”, to them, is fucking CNN
But its not a war so it is ok. Its just a little excursion, like going out to get milk or cigarettes. Dad will for sure be home any day now.
