I’ve known somewhat prosocial and virtuous homeless addicts, so idk. I think some people just decide to be evil, whatever educational background and intellectual capacities they may have.
In my friend group the ones most likely to drop anything to help me, or even a stranger, out are the ones who have gone through addiction and/or homelessness
